Automated Seamless Dispatch

Shortly after receiving EFI status in 2000, the USPS engaged Western in the ASD Program. This program involved installing various pieces of Postal Furnished Equipment (PFE) and conveyor. Western performed the mechanical and electrical installation including the controls to integrate the new equipment with existing equipment. Western completed numerous sites throughout the U.S. This was one of the first programs where Western demonstrated their system integration capabilities.
