Demolition and Remediation
Western has been involved in multiple demolition projects across many different industries. We have recently completed a remediation project for Rexam Beverage Can North America at their 12 oz can manufacturing plant in Forest Park, Georgia. The scope of work included:
- Removal and shipping of plant support equipment
- Removal of a 20,000 square foot steel mezzanine
- Removal of all process piping, conduit and buss ducts
- Redesign and installation of the fire protection system
- Cleaning of the building floors, walls and ceiling to prepare the building for sale
- Concrete in-fill of pits, trenches, and underground tanks
- Controlling and proper disposal of waste water to prevent environmental concerns
